EFT

What is EFT & how can it help you.... 

After studying under one of the founding fathers of EFT, Gary Craig, which included rigorous training and stringent exams, I acquired my EFT Certification.

Since becoming certified, I've taught and shared EFT with hundreds of clients/students, using EFT on a wide assortment of emotional and physical issues. 

Simply put, EFT can help you to gain relief from life's everyday anxieties and stress.  It can help you to deal with issues and emotions from your past which often keep us feeling "stuck".

Based on the ancient principles of acupuncture, EFT is a simple tapping procedure that gently clears and realigns the body’s energy system, without the discomfort of needles. EFT also incorporates some aspects of modern Psychology. This combination of tapping with "talk therapy" and positive affirmations can empower you to heal yourself from both emotional and physical issues. 

What to expect in an EFT session:

During our 60 minute session. we will spend the first 20 mins or so, discussing what it is that you would like to work on, or what you are struggling with.  It may be that you are dealing with a specific physical or emotional problem, or feelings of anxiety, or perhaps trying to make a change in your life.  Or, you might be having relationship problems or struggling to lose weight. 

After our discussion I will show you how and where to tap
on points on your face and body to clear up any type of energy disruption.   (Note the diagram of the tapping points below).   We will combine tapping with some guided talk/discussion and we'll also use some positive affirmations. I will suggest "homework" and will offer specific suggestions to you for continuing the tapping on your own.

                        Background and additional information about  EFT:

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) was introduced by Gary Craig, a Stanford Engineering graduate in lifelong pursuit of personal well-being.

The theory behind EFT is that Negative emotional experiences disrupt the energy meridians that run through our body.  This in turn causes us to experience a physical change.  Without being aware of it, these disruptions become attached to the memory of that experience and affect the way we see the world…and the way we feel…
EFT helps to eliminate and heal these disruptions in our energy, allowing us to heal. 

Properly applied, EFT quickly realigns the energy meridians with respect to negative memories, disconnects the physical discomfort that we attached to it, and quite often removes the resulting symptoms. 

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) can be applied to a wide variety of emotional, health and performance issues and
it often works where nothing else will. 

One of the unique and best things about EFT is that you can continue to do it on your own and once learned, you'll always have it as a tool to aid you during difficult times. 

EFT incorporates an emotional element to the healing process, addressing unresolved emotional issues as a possible cause or contributor to physical disease, psychological problems and limitations.EFT can help you to deal with and eliminate anything negative in your life.
